Problem
The plugin does not generate or send invoices to customers and / or shop operators.
Troubleshooting
1. Please check whether the latest orders contain invoices
All generated invoices are automatically stored in the backend in the respective order. You can find the document view in the backend under Customers → Orders. Select an order here and click the edit pencil on the far right. Now click on "Documents". The documents generated by the plugin should appear here. If no documents are visible here:
Check whether order status, payment status, customer group restrictions, etc. are set correctly in the plugin settings.
Please clear all caches
Reinstall the plugin
2. If documents are present in the orders
If the documents are present in the orders but are not being sent to the customer and / or the shop operator, this is most likely a problem with your mail server.
Check whether other system emails such as order confirmation etc. are being sent correctly.
Your mail server may be blocking emails with PDF attachments. If necessary, contact your hosting provider or system administrator.
Also check the email log introduced in Shopware 5.6 (Settings → Email Management → Email Log) or use a plugin for logging email output
3. No invoices are sent for orders imported via Magnalister or from another platform
Please read the article on configuring Magnalister support.
Make sure the AutoInvoice cronjob is active (Settings → Basic Settings → System → Cronjobs)
Make sure that the date of the last execution of the cronjob (Settings → Basic Settings → System → Cronjobs) is not several days in the past
Check whether the cronjob is set up correctly on the server. If necessary, contact your hosting provider or system administrator.
4. No invoices are generated for certain payment methods (e.g. Paypal Plus, SOFORT transfer, ..)
Unfortunately, many developers of payment plugins do not adhere to Shopware conventions and write the changed payment or order status directly to the database instead of using the standard Shopware interfaces.
In this case, please simply activate Asynchronous order data processing (Magnalister support).
