A cronjob is important so that orders from third-party systems can be processed in Shopware. Plugins that write order data directly to the database require the activation of a cronjob.
Setting up the cronjob
To use asynchronous order data processing, you must first install and activate the Shopware plugin "Cronjob" in the Plugin Manager. Then configure a corresponding cronjob for your Shopware instance in your web hosting control panel or on your server. You can find detailed instructions here. Then activate your cronjob in the configuration settings of this plugin.
How it works
On the next cronjob run, new ticket orders will be automatically processed and tickets will be sent to the customer upon successful payment.
